How do we handle consent?

We rely on our customers to enter into a consenting business transaction when we are organising deliveries and collect customers’ contact information under this implied consent out of necessity for the job. No record of such consent can be obtained due to the nature of our business. The same is relevant for our website customers. Under the new GDPR regulations we will be informing our existing customers that they can request for us to remove their contact details from our records so that we can no longer do business with them should they feel it necessary. We will maintain any records of data removal requests and will ensure that contact is immediately ceased where such consent is withdrawn. Although please note, a data removal request will only be processed once any outstanding accounts have been settled and relevant debts cleared. Should we require any personal data from our customers other then their contact details then under the new GDPR regulations active consent shall be obtained and a record of such consent will be retained on file.

We are now in the process of obtaining consent from our Suppliers to ensure that the chain of business we provide has our customers best interests at heart from beginning to end.  This is to provide accountability for our suppliers when suppliers are involved in a transaction and to make certain that our suppliers take data protection as seriously as we do and that they have taken the necessary steps within their own businesses to become ready for the new GDPR changes. We will never sell, transfer or disclose your information for commercial gain or for any purpose outside of that necessary to run our business and provide you with our services.
